4) Restore community voices and trust to the board.

About me:

- A resident of Mountain View since 2015.
- A parent of two students in MVWSD, one in special education.
- Over a decade of previous experience as a Santa Clara County EMT, Paramedic, and Reserve Firefighter.
- Former Vice President and Shop Steward for United EMS Workers AFSME 4911 and member of International Association of Firefighters 2400.
- Current Technology Sales to Public Safety Agencies.
- Actively involved in reviewing, drafting, and submitting multiple RFP’s as part of my regular work. I do deep dives into RFP’s 3-5x a week.
- Over a decade of experience of experience as a volunteer youth coach.
- Current Mountain View Little League Coach.

I have spent the majority of my life advocating for those without a voice and serving the public.

(My old longtime partner)

I believe in advocating for:

1) Students & Parents
2) Teachers
3) School sites and their support staff

I am running because since I advocated for my son to have legally mandated accessibility accommodations, I have heard numerous stories of parents being stonewalled by the district office.

Efforts to meet with the superintendent have been met with resistance and apathy.

Efforts to appeal to the board have been met with copy and paste responses.

It is time to return:
- A voice to parents
- A voice to teachers
- Accountability and oversight to the district office
- A focus on results for all students
- Fiscal responsibility

It would be a privilege to serve the parents of the Mountain View Whisman School District.
